The Butterfly Effect Education and Enrichment Solutions was founded by T'Ericka L. Stelivan, a mother and entrepreneur.

T’Ericka was born on December 5, 1996, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

At the age of ten, T'Ericka moved to Springfield, Illinois where she was raised by her father and grandparents along with her brother.

During her sophomore and junior years of high school, she and her family moved back to their hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas, only to return to Springfield during her senior year.

Shortly after graduating from high school, on October 29, 2016,T'Ericka got married in Springfield, IL, and soon after, her son, Free O'Neal, was born on July 21, 2017. A year later T'Ericka and her husband decided to move back to their hometown of Little Rock where they would build their lives. However, in 2021 T'Ericka moved back to Springfield, IL after the marriage ended.

Her life has been deeply rooted in both states with her family's lineage spanning over 100 years.

It is from humble beginnings that T'Ericka draws her inspiration to give back to the communities that have shaped her into the person she is today.

T'Ericka's journey as a youth advocate began early in life when she realized her passion for working with young people and creating meaningful opportunities for them.

Her family's legacy and the experiences of growing up heavily involved in church instilled in her a sense of responsibility to contribute positively to the lives of others.

In T'Ericka's journey, she overcame her troubled childhood and past trauma, transforming into a resilient individual with unwavering perseverance.

Wrestling with the complexities of PTSD that sought to confine her spirit, she emerged not as a victim, but as a beacon of hope and inspiration.

Today, as she stands at the helm of The Butterfly Effect team, her past serves not as a burden, but as a testament to the transformative power of resilience and determination.

With each program and initiative, T'Ericka and her team illuminate the path for others, showing that no obstacle is insurmountable, and that within every challenge lies the seeds of growth and empowerment.

Within TBE Homework Lounge, T'Ericka's journey echoes a belief that, with unwavering faith in oneself and the support of a nurturing community, one can transcend even the darkest of moments and soar towards a future filled with boundless possibility.

TBE Homework Lounge is a sacred space where T'Ericka's story resonates and inspires others to overcome their own challenges.

Before anything else, T'Ericka is a devoted mother to her only child, Free Onyx O'Neal.

As a homeschooling parent, she takes great pride in providing him with personalized education and exposing him to diverse cultures through exploring, reading, and learning together.

Her son holds a special place in her heart and serves as a constant reminder of the importance of nurturing young minds.

With a creative spirit and a heart for youth advocacy, at only 28 years old, T'Ericka has already spent a decade working with young individuals in various capacities as a preschool teacher, running a home daycare, devoting her time to volunteering, managing programs, working for and collaborating with numerous nonprofit and youth ally organizations, exploring innovative ways to advocate for and support the younger generation.

T'Ericka draws inspiration from notable visionaries and leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, bell hooks, Fannie Lou Hamer, Michelle Obama, Dennis Littky, Maya Angelou, and Muhammad Yunus.

She aspires to leave a global impact and take inspiration from her role models by creating her own unique path.

On March 1, 2023, T'Ericka's vision materialized when she founded The Butterfly Effect Education and Enrichment Solutions LLC.

Nine months later she was ready to focus her efforts on her next passion project, the centerpiece of her vision, TBE Homework Lounge.

The organization's mission is to impact the lives of students through various educational and enrichment initiatives.

TBE Homework Lounge was designed to help students succeed academically and develop strong leadership skills, empowering them for a bright and fulfilling future.

TBE Homework Lounge aims to create an environment that fosters personal growth, creativity, and critical thinking.

T'Ericka and The Butterfly Effect team dedicate themselves to the mission of impacting students' lives, and nurturing the leaders of tomorrow, equipping them with the skills and mindset needed for a bright and fulfilling future.

TBE Homework Lounge stands as a beacon of empowerment, where students not only excel academically but also cultivate the qualities necessary for success in all aspects of their lives.

T'Ericka says her aspirations as an entrepreneur and mother are intertwined…

"I strongly desire to fulfill the mission God has planned for me in this lifetime and believe that my true purpose in life is to be a mother and raise amazing humans.

I’m not just a student advocate but someone who advocates for anyone who is overlooked.

I think that each of us has a significant purpose to achieve during our lifetime, and the sooner we discover what that is, the more sense our journey in life makes.

It would be a dream come true for me to be able to walk in my purpose and support others in achieving theirs too.”

"We are providing students with the necessary tools and resources to explore their interests and identity, while also prioritizing their academic and mental well-being.

Above all, we support educational institutions and emphasize academic excellence.

There has always been a discussion about reducing disparities in education and bridging the gap between education and enrichment programs and we believe that we are doing our part in achieving that goal.”
